Introduction

Aziz Industries operates Aziz Steel, a mobile application used by authorized drivers, operations personnel, customers, and delivery recipients for managing assigned trips, monitoring delivery progress, and providing real-time order and vehicle location information.

This Privacy Policy explains how Aziz Industries accesses, collects, transmits, uses, stores, protects, and discloses information obtained through the Aziz Steel mobile application.

Location Data We Collect

The Aziz Steel App accesses, collects, and transmits location information from the devices of authorized drivers, including:

• Approximate location
• Precise location, including GPS-based location
• Foreground location while the App is open and actively being used
• Background location while the App is minimized, the device screen is locked, or the App is not actively being used

Background location is required to provide real-time driver, route, and delivery tracking during an active work shift, assigned trip, route, or delivery.

Location information is collected from authorized drivers. Customers and delivery recipients are not tracked.

When Location Tracking Occurs

Location tracking begins when a driver starts an active shift, trip, delivery, or tracking session through the App.

Location tracking may continue while the active tracking session remains enabled, including when:

• The driver switches to another application
• The device screen is locked
• The App is minimized
• The App is running in the background or is not actively being used

Location tracking stops when the driver:

• Ends the trip or delivery
• Stops the active tracking session
• Signs out of the App, where signing out stops tracking
• Revokes location permission through the device settings

How We Use Location Data

Aziz Industries uses location data for the following purposes:

• Providing real-time driver and vehicle tracking
• Allowing customers and delivery recipients to track the current progress of their active orders
• Monitoring active deliveries
• Displaying delivery progress to dispatch, logistics, administration, and operations personnel
• Supporting route coordination and operational planning
• Confirming departure, arrival, and delivery activity
• Estimating delivery progress and arrival times
• Investigating operational, route, or delivery-related issues
• Maintaining records required for business, legal, security, and compliance purposes

Location data is not used for advertising or marketing. Aziz Industries does not sell drivers' or customers' location data.

Customer Order Tracking

During an active delivery, the relevant customer or delivery recipient may be provided with access to the current location of the driver assigned to their order.

Customer access is provided only for the purpose of monitoring the progress of the customer's active order or delivery.

Customers and delivery recipients are not provided with access to:

• Location information relating to other customers' orders
• Unrelated driver trips or deliveries
• The driver's complete historical location records
• Location information collected outside the relevant active order or delivery period
• Unrelated personal information belonging to the driver

Customer access to real-time order tracking ends when the order is delivered, cancelled, closed, or otherwise completed.

Transmission and Disclosure of Location Data

Location information is securely transmitted from the authorized driver's device to Aziz Industries' systems.

Location information may be accessed or disclosed to:

• Authorized Aziz Industries administration
• The customer or delivery recipient associated with the active order, solely for real-time order and delivery tracking

Customer access is limited to information reasonably required to track the relevant active order or delivery.

Data Retention

Driver location information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to:

• Provide trip, order, and delivery tracking
• Manage deliveries and operational records
• Confirm delivery completion
• Resolve complaints, disputes, or operational issues
• Prevent fraud, misuse, or security incidents

Location information that is no longer required will be deleted.

Driver Choices and Controls

Drivers can control location access through the permission settings on their devices.

A driver may:

• Decline a location permission request
• Revoke location permission through device settings
• Stop an active trip, delivery, shift, or tracking session through the App, where this functionality is available
• Contact Aziz Industries to request access to, correction of, or deletion of eligible personal information

Disabling location permission may prevent the driver from using real-time tracking, route monitoring, trip management, delivery confirmation, or other core features of the App.

Customer Privacy

Customers may receive real-time information about the location and progress of their own active orders.

Aziz Industries does not use the customer order-tracking feature to allow customers to monitor unrelated drivers, vehicles, trips, orders, or deliveries.

Customers should not attempt to use, copy, store, publish, or disclose tracking information for any purpose other than monitoring their own active order.

Data Security

Aziz Industries uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect location and other personal information from unauthorized access, loss, alteration, misuse, or disclosure.

Access to location information is restricted according to business roles and operational requirements.

Children's Privacy

The Aziz Steel App is intended for authorized business users, drivers, customers, and delivery recipients. It is not designed or directed toward children.

Aziz Industries does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the driver-tracking functionality.
